Our Priest in Charge is the The Reverend Susan Oldfather

The Rev. Susan Oldfather is a life-long teacher (pre-K through college) whose sense of wonder and curiosity was well suited to her first master’s degree in Library Science.   After receiving her Master of Divinity from the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley, CA, she successfully completed a year-long residency at a level I  regional trauma center and teaching hospital in KS.  Her spirituality deepened there as she walked with families of trauma victims and other life changing illnesses.  Trauma center chaplaincy plus coursework from the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation developed Mtr. Sue’s+ professional experience and knowledge that led to her work as Co-Chair of the Diocese of MD Disaster Emergency Response Team.  As a Postulant  in the Diocese of Kansas, she earned a Certificate of Anglican Studies from the School of Theology at the University of the South, Sewanee, TN.   In the Diocese of Maryland, Mtr. Susan was a founding member of the Small Church Movement. Mtr. Sue’s love of people, spirituality, listening and teaching skills serve her well in every parish she serves.
